After retiring to the Delaware shore, Jeanne discovered an innate talent for painting. With no formal training, she has become one of this area’s prominent self-taught artists. In her paintings, exploring color, light and shapes, she creates visual sensations with color relationships and atmosphere, bringing life to landscapes and still life subjects in a variety of mediums.

Jeanne is ever open to expanding her horizons and enjoys the challenge of abstract ideas that work their way into her mind and take shape through her brushes. Through her artwork, she expresses the emotion she feels when a subject demands to be set to canvas; and as you view her work, she hopes that you also share in that emotion.

Jeanne holds membership in the Delaware Watercolor Society, Bethany Beach Watercolor Society, Rehoboth Art League, and the Art League of Ocean City. She is also the Delaware representative for the Southern Watercolor Society. Jeanne has won awards in many local shows, as well as at the Biggs Museum in Dover, DE. Her art is appreciated by many private collectors on the East Coast and may be seen at Gallery One in Ocean View, Delaware.
